The role

As our Accounts Officer, you will provide effective and efficient support in accounts payable and receivables. You will provide timely and accurate service for invoice and payments processing and ledger allocations.

About You

You will be a team player who can also work autonomously with strong time management skills and a high level of accuracy. You will also have knowledge of GST, basic accounting principles, procedures and processes, understanding of Local Government and comprehension of and ability to apply a Chart of Accounts.  A thorough understanding of accounts payable processes including workflow from purchasing requisitioning in a larger system, through to payment and reconciling of accounts is essential.
