Council’s Community Wellbeing team are looking for an Administration Officer (Tuesday & Wednesday) who will provide support, assistance and coordinate the administrative functions within the Immunisation, Maternal and Child Health (MCH), Family Day Care and Children’s Services programs.
About this opportunity
In this role of Administration Officer – Early Years, you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating Immunisation sessions across Murrindindi to ensure consistent and effective service delivery including vaccine and equipment stock control, cold chain management, appointments, disability access, immunisation fridge logs and data logging and reporting.
- Supporting Family Day Care reporting and record management to ensure consistent and effective service delivery including but not limited to enrolments, educator timesheets, payments, and procedures.
- Providing exceptional customer support relating to service requirements of the Early Years functions including delivery of related communications plans.
- Maintaining confidentiality including within legislation requirements for all program requirements including professional record procedures.
- Providing project and administrative support within allocated Early Years programs to ensure successful implementation and development, including procurement requirements.
- Engaging with relevant stakeholders, through strong communication, consultation, and team skills to ensure best possible program outcomes.
What will you bring
- Highly developed organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Demonstrated experience in project and administration support including knowledge of key project management processes.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment, contributing to team culture and program outcomes.
- Demonstrated capacity for mastering key service procedures, processes and requirements including computer software and willingness to obtain relevant first aid qualification and perform first aid if required.
- Similar experience in an Early Years role is desirable.
