About the Opportunity

Council is seeking an Administration Officer - Facilities to assist with the administration functions of Council's Facilities Department.

This position is based in Dalby.

Reporting to the Coordinator Maintenance and Aerodromes - Facilities, you will:

  • Undertake procurement activities on behalf of the Facilities Department as guided by Council's Procurement Policy;
  • Provide Facilities operational and administrative support to internal and external stakeholders;
  • Monitor, record keeping, assigning and actioning correspondence in task lists, shared mailboxes and calendars;
  • Monitor and resupply chemicals and/or consumables within a range of council facilities across the region.
  • Research and collation of asset information completion of operational and capital works submissions;

The successful applicant will have:

  • highly developed interpersonal skills including proven written and verbal communication skills, dispute resolution and problem-solving ability;
  • work independently to research complex customer requests and identify solutions;
  • multi-tasking while maintaining high attention to detail to ensure deadlines are met;
  • demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage work to meet required targets;
