Council is seeking applications from enthusiastic motivated individuals for the following position.
PAYROLL COORDINATOR (Permanent)
Responsible for the overall coordination management and delivery of all payroll functions for Griffith City Council in accordance with Council policies and procedures and statutory requirements.
Qualifications: The successful applicant will require a Diploma in Payroll Administration or Accounting field or demonstrated extensive relevant experience in a Payroll position. Please include copies of all relevant licenses and qualification with your application
Skills & Knowledge: The successful applicant will require a sound understanding with interpretation of awards and legislation in relation to payroll, strong understanding and experience in payroll administration including PAYG, payroll tax and superannuation legislation, technical understanding and extensive experience with automated payroll systems and excellent attention to detail with effective time management and organisational skills.
Hours of work: 35 hours per week.
Salary and conditions: Commencement annual salary range from $88,540.27 to $97,395.84 (Grade 15) plus superannuation.
