Salary Package: $107,378 per annum (pro-rata) plus super
Join the City of Karratha’s Financial Services team and play a key role in managing the City’s revenue processes. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Officer – Revenue for a fixed-term contract of 6 months, to support income receipting and debtor management functions.
As part of our Corporate Services Directorate, you will process incoming payments, maintain debtor records, and support debt collection activities. This role is essential in helping the City maintain financial accuracy and excellent customer service in revenue-related matters.
Key Responsibilities
• Process daily banking, receipting, postal cheques, and direct deposits
• Maintain debtor accounts and assist with debt collection
• Provide support with account enquiries and financial record-keeping
• Monitor outstanding accounts and support monthly reporting
• Assist with financial audits and general research
About You
You'll be someone who has:
• Experience in accounts receivable or general accounting
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and accounting software
• Ability to follow procedures, manage time effectively, and problem-solve
• Great communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Previous experience in a similar finance or accounts role
• Minimum Year 12 standard of English and Math
• Current C Class Driver’s Licence
• National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
