At Nextt, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to live a full and meaningful life.

Our mission is to deliver high-quality, person-centred services that empower people with disabilities to live safely, confidently, and with purpose.
We're now seeking a passionate and experienced Quality and Safeguards Business Partner to join our Sydney-based team. This is a critical leadership role in driving a culture of excellence, safety, and continuous improvement across our services — including support for early intervention specialists at The Lizard Centre.

Your Role: Quality and Safeguards Business Partner
This is more than a compliance role, it's about being a trusted partner to the business.
You’ll work alongside operational leaders, clinicians, and frontline teams to ensure that quality and safeguarding are not only met but deeply embedded in everything we do. You’ll translate policy into practice, provide hands on support, and champion continuous learning and client first supports.

Your focus will include:

  • Embedding child safety, human rights, and person-centred care in line with NDIS Practice Standards
  • Driving reflective practice and clinical excellence in both therapeutic and support services
  • Ensuring compliance with legislative, regulatory, and funding requirements
  • Leading internal quality reviews and preparing for external audits
  • Translating complex frameworks into clear, actionable tools and resources for staff
  • Building capability across teams through training, case reviews, and mentoring
  • Fostering a culture of learning, where feedback is welcomed and continuous improvement is the norm.

If you're a collaborative business partner who brings both strategic insight and hands-on expertise — and you’re passionate about making a difference in the lives of people with disabilities — we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Bring

You are a seasoned professional with a genuine passion for quality, compliance, and safeguarding in the disability sector. You thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and are at your best when you’re supporting others to be their best too.

Here’s what you’ll need to succeed:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar quality, clinical governance, or compliance role.
  • Deep knowledge of regulatory and legislative frameworks including Child Safe Standards, NDIS Practice Standards, and clinical governance.
  • Strong background in disability, early intervention, or allied health.
  • Demonstrated experience in root cause analysis, risk management, and continuous improvement.
  • High-level interpersonal and communication skills – you're a natural coach and collaborator.
  • A full driver’s license and the flexibility to travel across sites as needed.
  • Degree-level qualification (post-grad desirable) in a relevant field.

Why Join Nextt

  • Partner with an experienced, supportive leadership team.
  • Use your voice and expertise to drive real impact across our services.
  • Enjoy flexible work options, professional development, and career growth opportunities.
  • Contribute to a culture that values transparency, inclusion, innovation, and continuous learning.

Apply today if you’re ready to help shape the future of disability and early intervention services in Australia – and to make a genuine impact in the lives of the people we support!
