Business Support Officer

Join the Business Improvement and Systems team as a Business Support Officer and play a crucial role in driving across our front-line service delivery teams including, Local Laws, Public Health & Permits and Customer Service.

As a valued member of our team, you’ll provide administrative assistance and support, contributing to the effective and efficient delivery of departmental operations. You will also:

• Manage customer requests, including coordinating departmental responses to customers and Councillors.
• Provide general administrative assistance to the department ensuring appropriate communication and escalation of matters.
• Assist in the review of departmental processes and resources to improve efficiency and service delivery outcomes.
• Undertake a range of financial and procurement activities, including the provision of departmental uniforms.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Support Officer to join our small (fun) team. Bring your strong administrative and communication skills that you’ll use to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

We are seeking candidates who thrive working in a fast paced environment, and are proficient in preparing quality correspondence and documentation. You will also have the ability to handle sensitive information and operate Council’s corporate systems and Microsoft Office suite of programs.
