Professional to contribute to the overall strategic direction and corporate performance of Whitsunday Regional Council.
The Human Resources Business Partner is directorate focused in implementing whole of Council Policy, Procedures and Strategies in addition to providing advice regarding relevant legislation and industrial instruments. The Human Resources Business Partner provides Human Resources guidance and advice to directorate/s, enabling strategic and operational outcomes through its people by fostering a values-driven, engaged, and high-performing workplace culture.
The ideal candidate must possess a proven ability to influence and foster a positive and productive organisational culture, coupled with contemporary knowledge of general HR Practices. Whilst tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or Business are preferred, individuals with significant HR or Business experience will be considered.
Being highly organised with the ability to prioritise urgent tasks, together with the ability to work with a wide range of key stakeholders will also be essential for success in the role.
