Cobar is a rural mining community located in western New South Wales, far removed from the hustle and bustle of city living. Council owns and operates the Cobar Shire & TAFE Library, Great Cobar Museum, Lilliane Brady Village (aged care facility), Children's Services, Youth & Community Centre as well as works depots in Euabalong and Cobar.

We are seeking enthusiastic and self motivated individuals that have previous experience in customer service roles with the ability to work in a team and on their own to join our staff at the Great Cobar Museum.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Tourism Officer's are responsible for providing high quality customer service to visitors (local and traveling) of the Great Cobar Museum providing tourism advice, directions, and other general information about Cobar and surrounding areas.
This casual position is classified as Band 1 Level 3 (commencing at $35.31) under Council's salary system in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award.
