Lead the design and planning of infrastructure projects, ready for delivery
Hornsby Shire Council is seeking a dynamic Manager Infrastructure Design and Development to drive strategic infrastructure initiatives and lead a talented team of 30 professionals delivering high-impact projects that will leave a lasting legacy on our Shire.
Your Mission
Transform our community's landscape by spearheading strategic infrastructure planning, encompassing project planning, asset planning, feasibility and investigation, survey and design, and traffic and active transport initiatives. Your role is crucial in developing and shaping our Council's works and capital expenditure programs, ensuring they align with our objectives, policies, planning instruments, and state and federal codes.
This role focuses on the design and development of infrastructure projects—turning ideas into well-planned, feasible, and ready-to-deliver projects. You’ll ensure each project is strategically planned, designed, and prepared for seamless handover to the teams responsible for implementation.
