About the Job

There is an exciting opportunity with the Parks and Reserve Operations for a Supervisor of Parks and Reserves. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Parks and Reserves team in the effective delivery of established work schedules and maintenance programs.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide leadership and supervision to the Parks and Reserves team on the day to day management and maintenance of the Shire’s parks, natural and coastal reserves, sporting ovals, trees and streetscapes.
• Implement and monitor established work programs to ensure works are completed in an efficient and effective manner.
• Monitor the Parks and Reserves annual maintenance budget and appropriately allocate resources.
• Actively review and implement Parks and Reserves operating procedures and look for opportunities for improvements and efficiencies.

This is a Permanent Full Time position, working 85 per fortnight. 

About you 

In order to succeed and thrive in this position, you must have:

• Demonstrated experience in a similar role in horticulture, public open space management or associated field.
• Experience supervising staff
• Sound time management skills

Benefits

Salary Range: $98,567.76 - $104,760.93 (including overtime) dependant on qualifications and experience.
