Agreement: Hobart City Council Enterprise Agreement 2021

Salary range: $95,251 - $109,117 per annum pro rata + 13%% superannuation.

About the role

This role contributes to the success of the City by delivering cultural heritage services and support, aligning with Council's Strategic Plan, and Priority Actions, and other objectives.

Role accountabilities include: 

  • Providing advice and recommendations on the cultural heritage aspects of planning applications submitted under Council’s prevailing planning schemes.
  • Providing input into reports and strategies for the identification, development and management of the cultural heritage resource within the City and specifically the Council’s own heritage assets.
  • Providing information and advice to the general public and to prospective applicants and developers in relation to the cultural heritage aspects and implications of the prevailing planning schemes and associated legislation.

About you

You will have appropriate tertiary qualifications and experience in cultural heritage management, as well as a demonstrated knowledge and sound understanding of Cultural Heritage Procedures, Practices and other planning legislation.
