We have 7 community libraries across our local government area, including Mount Druitt, Stanhope Gardens, Riverstone, Lalor Park and our flagship service, The Max Webber Library, 1 temporary and a mobile library service at Marsden Park.
We offer a wide range of services to our community including but not limited to, borrowing services, a digital library, study support services, technology workshops, and multicultural, children and youth services. About the opportunity
We are looking for a Digital Programs Services Librarian - Community Learning, who thrives in a dynamic environment to support and build our organisation, to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.
This opportunity is based within the Library's Community Learning team, and you will work closely with library information specialists to lead and participate in projects to improve our web presence. An ideal candidate will develop online programs and engage with the community to ensure we are responsive to their needs.
This role focuses on the provision of quality reference and information services, together with promoting innovation by exploring new digital platforms and web presence services.

The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.
