About City of Port Phillip
We are a vibrant and diverse inner-city council stretching 20kms from South to Port Melbourne along the stunning bay beaches down to Elwood and out to St Kilda East with around 1000 people who all work together to deliver more than 100 programs and services to our engaged community of residents, businesses and visitors. What does that mean? Think, childcare, libraries, parks, recreation, waste rubbish collection, road maintenance, family and youth services, property & assets, city planning & development, customer experience, digital technology, governance, people, culture and safety, and of course South Melbourne Market!
Port Phillip is a city where childhood is honoured. All children are cherished and supported as active citizens with a voice of their own, secure in their identity and culture; where they can play, learn and contribute to their environments, surrounded by nurturing adults and supportive communities. City of Port Phillip has zero tolerance for child abuse and is a committed Child Safe organisation.
What are the roles all about
With an increased waitlist and the need to open new rooms for children under three we are on the search for educators to join us on this exciting journey.
Your enthusiasm, passion and commitment to providing high quality education and care will enhance the embedding of continuous improvement to achieve positive outcomes for children families, community and staff.
We create space for non-contact time away from the children so you can contribute to thoughtful and purposeful programs.
We have a passionate and driven team who all work together to deliver outcomes that positively benefit our community.
