The Role
We are currently seeking two dynamic Early Childhood Educator to a work within the Girrabanya Children’s Centre Team.
You will work under the direction of the Centre Coordinator, Educational Leader and Lead Educator to collaborate as a team of early childhood professionals to work within the National Quality Framework. A commitment to teamwork is essential.

Positions avaliable:
0.93 FTE: Monday to Friday
0.55 FTE/21 hours per week: 7 hours per day, Wednesday to Friday

As part of working with the City of Ballarat Council, you will have access to a range of supports. This includes wellbeing supports such as EAP, psychology, physiotherapy, annual skin and health checks and a vaccination program. You will have opportunities to network and build your professional identity and knowledge through meetings and training opportunities.
As a Band 3 Educator, you will have close and tailored support from your Centre Coordinator, Team Leader, and Educational Leader to set you up to succeed and be a successful team member.

About You
The successful applicant will demonstrate a genuine interest in meeting the needs of children and their families through the provision of quality education and care. You must role model best practice to your co-educators and build respectful relationships with families.
To be successful in this role you must hold a Certificate III level qualification.
