Early Childhood Educator- Pyramid Hill

About the role:

Council is seeking an application from an enthusiastic additional educator to join our team until 20 December 2024. This position is for a temporary part time Early Childhood Educator one day a week for 5 hours and 30 minutes per week.

Joining our Pyramid Hill kindergarten, you will work cooperatively with the Teacher and Educator to assist with the provision of a high quality educational program for 3- 6 year old children. The hours and times for the position will be negotiated with the successful candidate and will fall within the kindergarten session times: 8.45 – 1.45pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays

About you:

Applicants are required to hold the following qualification (or equivalent)

• Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care or working towards this qualification

In addition, the successful candidate will also have:

• experience working with young children.
• ability to work in a small team.
• ability to communicate with children and parents in both English and Tagalog.
• current certificates in the management of asthma and management of anaphylaxis.
• current first aid certificate
• willingness to undergo a police records check.
