Landfill / Transfer Station Attendant

About the role:

Council is seeking an application from an enthusiastic, experienced and suitably qualified person to join our team as Landfill / Transfer Station Attendant.

Based at our Boort and Pyramid Hill Landfills, the successful applicant will work:

o Boort Tuesday 8am to 12pm and Sunday 1pm to 5pm

o Pyramid Hill Tuesday 1pm to 5pm and Sunday 8am to 12pm

An attractive salary package of $36.45 per hour plus employer superannuation is on offer.

About you:

The successful candidate will have:

· ability to effectively communicate with the public and work colleagues

· ability to process the receipt and handling of monies

· ability to work in a team environment as well as on an autonomous basis
