Reporting to the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) Lead, this role forms part of the EPMO Team, and the Infrastructure and Environment division. The role will play a key role in ensuring Council’s projects portfolio delivers its strategic value through the review of key project artefacts, provision of advice and support in resolving complex issues, effective stakeholder engagement and project assurance activities. Collaborating closely with project and program managers, the EPMO Controller partners with the business and is the trusted advisor to the internal Owners and Project Managers for the EPMO service within the Council. You will be responsible for developing and improving project tools, templates and resources, enabling the successful execution of projects aligned with our strategic priorities. This is a fixed term contract position for 2 years with the possibility for extension. The City of Ballarat is seeking an enthusiastic and collaborative EPMO Controller with strong interpersonal, influencing, and problem-solving skills who can build relationships, adapt to change, and drive results.
