Full Time Permanent Position

Band 6 - Salary Range $95,073 to $103,531 per annum + 11.5% Super + ADO 

Salary offered will depend on level of skills and experience.

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has come about within our Finance team for a Finance Systems and Support Officer, who will work with the Financial Systems Specialist in providing systems support, advice and training on various accounting and reporting systems. The person will also actively engage with business units to improve user experience and contribute to improvements that enhance the functionality of systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist support and advice to business units relating to finance systems including business information systems.
  • Actively engage with business unit managers and staff to ensure all software modules are well supported to enable an effective and user friendly experience.
  • Initiate and implement process improvements.
  • Resolve problems using previous knowledge of systems and finance systems.

About you
 

To be successful in this role you will have the following:

  • Recognised appropriate tertiary qualification within a Finance or Information Technology field with membership of professional body, preferably CPA or CA status or progress toward same is highly desirable.
  • Highly developed Information Technology skills with experience in administering a financial system.
  • Solid understanding and experience in applying the concepts of information technology and finance.
  • Current valid Victorian Driver’s Licence.
