Foreman Rural Maintenance

About the Job

There is an exciting opportunity with the Rural Maintenance Team for a Foreman Rural Maintenance. This position is responsible for delivering a high-quality service by the Rural Maintenance team. This position provides direction to and supervision of the Rural Maintenance team in maintaining Shire roads, bridges, signage and drainage. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Supervising road drainage renewal and upgrades.
• Supervision of road verge vegetation maintenance
• Provide operator training as required, and induct all workers in safe work practices.

This is a Permanent Full-Time position, working 85 hours per fortnight.  

About you 

In order to succeed and thrive in this position, you must have:

• Experience in road construction, maintenance works.
• Demonstrated supervisory and team leadership skills.
• ‘HR’ driver’s licence.

Benefits

Salary: $98,567.76 per annum, including overtime.
