The key duties and responsibilities are:

  Lead, motivate, maintain and develop skills of staff within the crew.

  Plan and organise the efficient, effective and timely delivery of responsive maintenance services.

  Ensure all tasks are completed in adherence to workplace health and safety, environmental and quality assurance requirements.

  Work with the crews in civil works including concrete finishing, steel fixing, fencing, road patching etc. 

To be successful in this role you will require:

  Current MR Licence or the ability to obtain.

  Working in proximity to traffic level one.

  General Construction White Safety card

  Experience in road and drain maintenance.

  Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

 Demonstrated effective team leadership skills specifically motivation in accordance with Council’s Code of Conduct.
