Discover a New Career Path: General Hand Role in Our Parks Team

Joining our Parks team gives you the opportunity to work in the beautiful New England outdoors, offering a wide range of tasks, meaning no two days are the same.

As part of your new role, we will support you in completing a Certificate III in Horticulture, as well as other training opportunities.

About You

In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and renovation of general turf and public gardens, including mowing, as well as assisting with the construction and upkeep of garden spaces. Additionally, you'll ensure the daily cleaning and maintenance of public amenities, picnic areas, parklands, and other public spaces, presenting Armidale at its best.

The role offers flexibility and while weekend availability and occasional overtime are required, you'll enjoy the benefit of a structured work schedule that promotes work-life balance and the perk of a 9-day fortnight.

You will come to work with a ‘can do’ attitude and a preparedness to ‘walk the talk’.
