At Armidale Regional Council we have multiple General Hand positions available across our Armidale and Guyra Roads Maintenance and Capital Works teams.

We are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic and a passion for working with plant and machinery. Team players who understand the importance of collaboration are essential. While experience with plant and machinery is a plus, we provide training for the right candidates. An MR learner’s permit is required before starting, and you must obtain your truck licence within the three-month probation period, with further progression to an HR licence.

In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for maintaining and constructing roads, drainage systems, bridges, culverts, and public spaces within our local council region. One of the benefits of this role is that you won't get rained off, ensuring consistent work and income.
