ABOUT THE ROLE
Liverpool City Council (Council) has an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Pavement Engineer to join our Infrastructure Planning and Design team. The purpose of the position is to assist with pavement investigations, development of pavement designs and specifications, and the forward planning and programming of pavement works to be undertaken. Through these activities, the position contributes to improving the overall condition of Council’s Road network, and the achievement of best practice in road asset management. Key responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to) the following:
ABOUT YOU
Our desired candidate will have the following:
· Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent tertiary qualifications.
· Class C Drivers Licence.
· White Card/General Construction Induction Card (or willingness to obtain).
· Demonstrated experience (either at university or in the workforce) in developing technical reports.
· Demonstrated basic experience (either at university or in the workforce) in pavement investigation and evaluation activities.
· Demonstrated experience using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software
