IP&R Coordinator – Full-time or Part-time

An opportunity exists for an experienced and enthusiastic person to join Council in the position of IP&R Coordinator.

The primary purpose of the position is to coordinate and control the cohesive delivery of Council’s Integrated Planning and Reporting activities and responsibilities and to build community confidence in Council through effective advocacy, surveys, education, awards nominations and communication about priority community and Council issues and programs.

Qualifications and Experience

• The applicant will have a sound knowledge of Local Government legislation and demonstrated knowledge of the Integrated Planning and Reporting requirements in NSW local government.
• The applicant must have high level diplomacy skills and experience establishing and maintaining strong relationships with major stakeholders at all levels within government.
• They must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A degree in communications, business, commerce or administration or an appropriate tertiary qualification with a minimum of 4 years’ work experience in a multifaceted business environment is essential.

Salary and Conditions

• The position is Grade 15 in Council’s salary system ($90,490.40 - $101,352.68 per annum) depending upon qualifications plus 11.5% superannuation.
• Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award.
• The full-time position is 35 hours per week with a monthly Rostered Day Off.
• Note: part-time may be considered
