Lifeguard - Casual

The City of Karratha is looking for qualified Lifeguards to join the friendly Aquatics teams based at the Wickham Recreation Precinct and Roebourne Aquatic Centre on a casual basis.

Responsibilities include supervising patrons to ensure their safety and educating them on water safety and proper behaviour. Health and safety duties include following safety protocols, using equipment properly, and ensuring personal and public safety by reporting any incidents or accidents.

Key responsibilities::

• Supervise and control users and provide adequate emergency care.
• Liaise with staff on matters relevant to good working order and management of the centre.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience as a lifeguard
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates
• Current RLSS Pool Lifeguard certificate or equivalent
• National (or Federal) Police Certificate (no more than 6 months old)
• Working with Children Check
