POSITIONS OVERVIEW
Lifeguards primarily supervise pool patrons to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience at the facilities, including mentoring and overseeing junior lifeguards. Responsibilities may include performing lifeguarding, rescue, and first aid duties as needed, delivering excellent customer service, and actively monitoring and maintaining swimming pool equipment. Cleaning and maintenance tasks involved to maintain high facility standards, encompassing garden areas, pool grounds, and amenities.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Lifeguard positions: Must be available to attend PAID training.
Ability to use electronic timesheet system or willingness to learn.
Proven capacity to work outdoors in the heat for long periods of time.
Current Blue Card or ability to obtain upon commencement – Council will assist with registration fees.
Conduct self in a professional and friendly manner to the public and centre staff.
