The Role
Council presents a 12 month fixed term opportunity for an experienced Management and Treasury Accountant to join a collaborative team that values accountability, teamwork, community, potential and positivity.
This position reports to the Coordinator Accounting Services and will provide efficient and effective management, treasury and financial accounting services in a professional manner to the Finance and Governance business unit. Responsibilities include working collaboratively across the organisation to ensure financial accounting compliance, whilst also increasing the understanding of costs & budget variances to aid improved decision making throughout Council.
The successful candidate will hold tertiary qualifications with previous experience in management and financial accounting functions and have demonstrable communication and interpersonal skills.
