Help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow by taking on a brand new position as our Manager of Civil Services! You'll be building and managing a multifunctional workforce consisting of operators, labourers, engineers and other technical professionals working within our Construction, Roads and Drains, Technical Operations and Technical Services teams.
Reporting to the General Manager of Operations, we're looking for someone to contribute expert knowledge and advice - ensuring the appropriate development, implementation and management of Council's operations strategy. This will include:

About you
Ideally you will have demonstrated leading large multi disciplinary operational workforces with a focus on delivering civil works. You will have advanced interpersonal skills, demonstrated experience building productive relationships at all levels and advanced problem solving skills to successfully identify core issues and develop solutions to implement with a logical and systematic approach.
You'll also have advanced knowledge and experience in the development and delivery of planned and cyclical operational maintenance programs and services, demonstrated experience in managing and growing the capability of a team and demonstrated experience in developing and implementing strategy and policy and leading organisational change while balancing competing priorities.
