This key leadership role will support the General Manager and Council in ensuring compliance with legislation, promoting transparency, and maintaining high standards of governance within the organisation. Position Overview
The Manager Corporate Governance / Public Officer will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining corporate governance functions, including enterprise risk management, compliance, internal audits, and insurance. You will be tasked with providing expert advice to the General Manager and Council on governance matters, including privacy and the Government Information (Public Access) Act. This role also includes the statutory responsibilities of Public Officer for Council.
