Full TimeAn opportunity exists for enthusiastic and self-motivated Maternal and Child Health (MCH) nurses to contribute to the work of our dedicated team in the role of MCH Nurse. We are seeking a person or people who have a passion for working with young children and families in a position that has the ability to improve outcomes in the lives of others.
In this role you will be responsible for provision of Universal and Enhanced Maternal and Child Health activities, as outlined in the MCH Service Guidelines, including appropriate and timely referral and support for young children and their families.
The position requires an understanding of the Victorian MCH Framework and Program Standards; strong assessment and referral skills; an understanding of the MCH software package CDIS; current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse and Midwife, and postgraduate MCH qualifications and registrations; driver's licence and Working with Children Check.
It is anticipated that the duration of employment in this position will be until 30 June 2025, but the actual period could be impacted by any early return to work of the party who will be on parental leave.
