About the Role
The Maternal and Child Health service has an exciting opportunity for a Maternal and Child Health Nurse to outreach and engage families who may face barriers to accessing a MCH Centre to complete Key Ages and Stages in a childcare or home based setting. Reporting to the Team Leader Maternal and Child Health you will provide child and family health focused services to our socially and culturally diverse community. Contributing to the implementation and facilitation of the State Government goals, objectives, performance measures and targets as prescribed in the current Maternal and Child Health Service Program Standards and the Maternal and Child Practice Guidelines 2009. We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative team member with well-developed problem solving, decision making and counselling skills who can work effectively with families to support individual needs If you are a looking for a role where you can genuinely make a difference, and want to work with a friendly and supportive team
