Join the Wangaratta Sports and Aquatic team as the Membership and Engagement Officer

  • Temporary Part Time | 30.4 hours per week until 30 June 2025 | $19.82 - $30.49 per hour + super (rates depend on age)

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in achieving our vision of becoming the Premier Regional Sports & Events Precinct in Victoria. You will be responsible for driving membership growth, building strong relationships with our community, and ensuring every member has a positive and welcoming experience.

Wangaratta Sports and Aquatic Centre is looking for a customer-focused, business-driven individual to look after the existing 3000 members, build new partnerships and deal with general enquiries.

Specialising in customer relations, data collection, building reports and quick turnaround times, WSAC prides itself on being people-focused, leading the way in performance and growth. WSAC will assist in your personal and professional development.

Here's what you'll get to do:

  • Develop and implement strategies to increase membership and program participation
  • Build strong relationships with local businesses and stakeholders to create long-term partnerships
  • Assist with training staff on membership sales and customer service
  • Promote WSAC services and programs to the community
  • Respond to member feedback and use data to inform decision-making

  • Has experience in sales and a proven track record of success
