How you’ll make a difference
Victoria Daly Regional Council is looking for a full-time Night Patrol Team Leader based in Timber Creek, NT.
This position is responsible for the community patrol operations of the Council in the community and surrounding ward.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supervise and work with community night patrol staff to deliver an effectively and consistent community night patrol service in the community.
- Ensure children are at home or in another safe location with a parent or carer at night and remind parents that they have a responsibility to provide a safe, quiet place for children to sleep.
- Team leaders need to support community night patrollers to pursue the same goal.
- Collate information and complete information/statistical requests as directed by the community night patrol manager, in accordance with the reporting required.
- Ensure community night patrol staff maintain time sheets for hours worked and submit to the community safety and wellbeing manager.
- Communicate with other services, especially the school and, through the MoU, the local NT Police
