As an Early Childhood Educator, you will provide a high-quality, innovative educational program that meets the individual needs of children aged from birth to six years at the Morobe Street Children’s Centre. This role will ensure that care and education programs align with the Early Childhood Services Philosophy.
You’ll be a great communicator, effectively assisting families about their child's development and well-being and collaborating with other educators to create an environment that promotes learning and development, ensuring that all children, regardless of background, culture, or ability, have equal opportunities to participate in activities and learning experiences. You’ll ensure a child-safe environment and contribute to a culture of child safety by fulfilling the responsibilities and requirements of Council’s Child Safe Policy and procedures.
What you'll bring - Skills, experience and certificates:
The successful candidate will be required to work full time, with shifts ranging from 6:45 am through to 6.00 pm, Monday to Friday (8 hours per day plus a 1-hour unpaid lunch break). The early shift is from 6:45 am to 3:45 pm, the late shift is from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, and there are additional middle shifts, which will be scheduled based on the rotating roster.
