Parking Permits Administration Officer

  • Salary Range Band 5 $79,188 - $91,309 plus 11.5% super (pro rata)
  • Permanent part time, 0.8 FTE (4 days per week, flexible days and hours available)

What’s the role all about 

We are seeking candidates with a passion for providing exceptional customer service to our community and our organisation.  You will be working in a fast-paced environment, have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working to resolve customer queries, requests and complaints. Working as part of the Parking Permits Administration Team alongside the Customer Experience Team, we are striving to deliver our vision of becoming an industry-leading organisation providing outstanding customer experience and community outcomes.  

What you might do 

  • Assess, process and manage the end-to-end procedure for processing residential parking permits
  • Manage the Accessible Parking Permit (APP) portal with VicRoads and be responsible for the end-to-end process
  • Accurately and efficiently resolve enquiries, requests, complaints and issues
  • To be the key point of contact (via telephone and email) for internal and external customers 
  • Support ongoing operational requirements including administration tasks in relation to permits and other general administrative tasks such as maintaining stock levels

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and a high regard for quality, consistency and accuracy of written communications.
  • A customer-focused approach and demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work flexibly, effectively, collaboratively and cooperatively as part of a cohesive team in a changing, demanding, fast-paced and complex work environment.
