The role

The Parks and Open Space unit is seeking a Parks Worker to join the Natural Reserves team. In this role you will undertake an outdoor works program to effectively maintain and sustainably develop a variety of reserves and open spaces.

The position includes a 9 day working fortnight (fortnightly RDO) and is based at the City’s Adam Street depot in Golden Square where you will travel out to site to service the City of Greater Bendigo area.

About You

You will have knowledge of indigenous flora and fauna with the ability to identify and control a range of pest plant and animals. You will also have an understanding of natural environment, biodiversity principles and sustainable land management techniques.

A satisfactory police records check and a current driver’s licence (manual preferred) are required for this position.
