The Opportunity
The Finance team provides a critical function in the day-to-day operation of Maribyrnong City Council. Reporting to the Team Leader Payroll, the Payroll Specialist will assist in the delivery of timely, accurate and compliant fortnightly payroll in accordance with all relevant agreements, award, regulations and statutory obligations. The role will provide operational advice, support to key stakeholders and lead initiatives relating to the optimisation and continuous improvement of the Council's payroll processes.
