Full Time - Fixed Term (2 years)

The role:
Council is seeking a individual with a passion to peruse a career in the human resources field with an interest in learning payroll. This role with the support and mentoring from our inclusive team of People & Culture & Payroll professionals will assist in daily tasks, such as payroll processing, recruitment, on boarding, learning and development and general administration whilst developing your skills and knowledge. We will teach you everything you need to know to launch your career in this field. The trainee will undertake diploma level training in Human Resources or Business.

You will:
-Be bright, inquisitive and have a desire to learn and thrive
-Have a positive and dedicated attitude, with the ability to think for yourself and display initiative
-Have had some previous paid work experience
-Display good time management skills and attention to detail
-Be a people person who has well developed communication and customer service skills
-NSW Record of School Achievement (RoSA)
-Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office
