Permanent Part Time (28 hours per week)
The role:
Council is currently seeking a Personal Care Assistant to join the team at Gummun Place Hostel on a permanent, full time basis. The Hostel is an aged care facility with an approved bed allocation of 16 beds for older people who are unable to remain in their own home and require some assistance with daily living. This rewarding and diverse role includes personal care such as showering, dressing, cleaning, assisting with eating and social activities as well as supporting our Residents in living life to its fullest.
What we need from you:
Our ideal candidate will have a Certificate III in Aged Care, or will be willing to obtain. Previous experience in working in the Aged Care Industry is desirable, although not essential.
The ability to work unsupervised and within a team is essential.
