The position is responsible for establishing robust partnerships with key stakeholders both internally and externally and building knowledge on the needs and priorities of our town and villages centres and other key precincts.    

•    Contribute to help Council deliver its sustainability goals. 
•    Liaise with Chambers of Commerce and Township Associations and forge community partnerships to build Council’s internal knowledge on town and village centres including their specific needs and priorities; 
•    Act as the first point of contact for all town and village matters both internally and externally; 
•    Work collaboratively to raise the profile of our towns and villages seeking to improve their social and economic well-being through the delivery of key initiatives; 
•    Provide specialist area knowledge for our towns and villages and advocate on their behalf; 
•    Develop and implement initiatives that improve the performance of towns and villages across the local government area; 
•    Present to Councillors / Chambers of Commerce and prepare written reports (including Council Reports) when required; and
•    Build networks with key governmental and community partners to enact change in our towns and villages improving their liveability and viability. 
•    Undertake small scale place based urban improvement projects from concept to delivery, to assist in lifting the amenity of our town centres and key precincts. Including the management of contractors.
•    Support and assist the Program Leader carry out the functions and activities of Place Management

-    Strong report writing skills

Remuneration: base salary commencing at $86,547 gross per annum
 + 11.5% superannuation 
 + performance payment 1% - 3.5% annual salary 
 + annual award increase
