About the Opportunity
Glenelg Shire Council are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our Works Unit Team in the role of Plant Operator.
The position is based primarily out of Councils Heywood Depot, with tasks primarily undertaken in road construction and maintenance, however, may vary with other works services where required. Duties of the Plant Operator position typically include labouring and the operation of Plant items.
We are looking for someone who brings a positive attitude, works well within a team environment and an attention to detail. Previous trade qualification or labouring experience would be of advantage as would a H.R truck licence

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate your experience working outdoors with the use of a variety of plant and machinery, proven experience in labouring works and the willingness to learn new skills.
