Pool Attendants

Council has opportunities for enthusiastic and flexible people to join the Building and Facilities team in the operation of our village pools for the 2024/25 season as Pool Attendants.

We require multiple Pool Attendants to work at our pools in Canowindra, Manildra, Molong, Cudal, Yeoval, Cumnock and Eugowra throughout the summer.

These are casual seasonal roles commencing at the beginning of October 2024 to the end of March 2025, with work scheduled on a rostering basis.

Our Pool Attendants are expected to provide a high standard of pool supervision, administer first aid as necessary, maintain the cleanliness and safety of the facilities and operate the pool kiosks.

These positions would suit qualified, experienced pool lifeguards or a fit and active person looking to become a lifeguard. Ideal for that summer job during the school holidays!

Qualifications

Must hold OR be willing to obtain:

· Pool Lifeguard Licence

· Working with Children Check

· Safe Handling of Food Practices

· First Aid Certificate and CPR qualification.

Desirable

· Pool Technical Operations Certificate

· Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety accreditation

Skills & Experience

• General knowledge of the leisure/recreation industry.
   
• Be able to perform allocated duties utilising initiative, and making positive contributions to work quality, productivity, and to work to a timetable, in a cost-effective manner.
• Commitment to exceptional customer service.
• Computer and systems skills and the ability to learn and apply new technologies.
