About this position:
Kingborough Council has a vacancy for an experienced customer service expert to join our team in the position of Senior Customer Service Officer.
Our customer service team delivers quality frontline customer service from point-of-enquiry to resolution, handling customer enquiries, service requests, transactions, and complaints in an efficient, professional, and responsive manner. As our new Senior Customer Service Officer, you will provide support and contribute the efficient and effective administration functions of the Unit.
To be successful, you will bring a positive and flexible approach to work, as well as confident and articulate communication skills. The role also requires competent cash handling and computer skills.
As the successful applicant, you will have:
- Significant customer service experience at a senior level.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiating and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to use initiative in resolving problems and capacity to display sound judgement.
- Cashiering and money-handling experience and use and knowledge of computerised financial systems.
