About the role

The Property Officer is responsible for providing specialised professional property services to the organisation and the community. Accountable for providing a broad range of leasing and property management services, as a Property Officer you will balance being both commercially aware and community responsive. To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications at Degree or Diploma Level in Property Management, Land Economics/Valuation, Business, Project Management or related field and demonstrated solid contemporary experience in a similar role combined with ongoing professional development.
  • Demonstrated experience in the negotiation and development of complex commercial and/or retail and/or telecommunications/infrastructure leases.
  • Experience in the interpretation and application of a variety of associated legislation including but not limited to, Residential Tenancies Act, Retail Leases Act, Telecommunications Act, Property Council of Australia methodologies and guidelines for commercial buildings.
  • Substantial experience in the development and modification of complex spreadsheets and with database management.
  • Proven experience in research and analysis of information including critical analysis of multiple outcomes, making informed recommendations to management and the preparation of complex reports;

Other important information

  • Commencing salary range between $1,646.40 to $1,975.75 per week ($85k to $103k per annum) + superannuation
  • This role is located at the Wyong Administration Building.

Council may create an eligibility list from this recruitment process and may utilise this eligibility list to fill other permanent or temporary vacancies.
