  • Band 5 Salary from $35.19 - $40.19 per hour, plus statutory superannuation

The Role:

We are currently seeking a passionate and committed Early Years practitioner which is enthusiastic about ensuring high quality program and practices across all of City of Ballarat Children’s Services, as we strive towards excellence as leaders in the field.  

The position works closely with the Coordinator Quality and Compliance to support the development and delivery of high quality and compliant educational outcomes in an environment of continuous improvement.

About You:

Your strong communication and relationship building skills will see you foster and sustain partnerships with a diverse range of stakeholders including maintaining respectful relationships with children, families, colleagues and community members.  

You will use your knowledge and experience of current best practice in the provision of early childhood education and care services including the National Quality Framework, Children’s Services regulation and Law to guide your leadership. You will have a natural ability to motivate and lead staff to achieve desired outcomes. 

You will display ability to produce high quality written documents, plans and reports to support and maintain projects within the Children’s Services portfolio.  

Your previous experience working in leadership will see you succeed in this rewarding role. 

The successful applicant will hold an Early Childhood recognised Diploma qualification or higher as outlined in the Children’s Services Regulations 2012 or knowledge and skills gained through on-the-job training commensurate with the requirements of the work.
