Permanent Full-Time (35 hours per week)

The role:
Council is currently seeking a motivated individual to coordinate the activities of the Customer Services and Communications teams. The role will ensure that the teams are engaged with external and internal customers in the provision of a responsible and reliable service in line with community expectations, as well as lead the Communications team to promote Council’s role, image, services and activities through effective communications and public relations material and methods.

What we need from you:
Our ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Media and Communication, Public Relations, Business or related field. Experience in a similar role is essential, as is having excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and customer service skills. The demonstrated ability to lead a team to ensure the implementation of dynamic and responsive communications and customer service processes is essential.
