Offering a salary ranging from $109,450.12 - $127,198.76 per Annum plus 11.5% Superannuation.

The Opportunity

As the 'Senior Building Surveyor', you will be responsible for communicating Council's policies to clients, staff and other agencies regarding Building Surveying, Building Certification and Planning matters for residential developments.

About You

  1. Tertiary qualifications in Building Surveying with NSW Fair Trading registration as a Building Surveyor – restricted (all classes of buildings, formerly A2).
  2. High-level knowledge of the legislative and regulatory framework for building certification and development assessment in NSW
  3. Proven experience in professional development and team capacity building.
  4. Ability to apply and interpret key legislation like the National Construction Code and Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 in complex scenarios.
  5. Demonstrated ability to handle a high workload in an efficient and professional manner.
  6. Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Suite and Electronic Data Management Systems such as Tech 1 ECM.
  7. Demonstrated commitment to, and ability to deliver excellent customer service.
