The Community Planning Department is responsible for planning and implementing new community infrastructure and public spaces, such as recreational facilities and open areas. The Senior Community Infrastructure
Planner will lead strategic initiatives, provide expert advice, manage projects, and ensure alignment with Council objectives while fostering partnerships with stakeholders to create accessible, inclusive, and sustainable community spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategy Planning
• Design direction
• Asset management
• Grant sourcing
• Contractor management

Requirements:

• A tertiary qualification in Recreation and Leisure Planning, Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, Infrastructure Project Management, or related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in urban planning, site design, or infrastructure project management, with a focus on recreational and civic
facilities
• Demonstrated experience in Local Government is favourable
• Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in planning and design practices, and teamwork
• Current C class driver’s licence
• National (or Federal) Police Certificate, no more than 6
months old
