With the Cairns growth corridor planning and design of the trunk infrastructure on the horizon, your expertise will be critical in creating and managing efficient and resilient transport infrastructure.

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Civil) and eligibility for corporate membership of Engineers Australia.
• Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ), or attainment of RPEQ within 6 months of appointment.
• Experience in strategic transport planning initiatives, traffic management and managing complex infrastructure projects.
• Ability to problem solve and understand the long-term implications of transport decisions on urban development.
• Confidence to engage with a wide range of stakeholders, including Councillors, government and external agencies.
